Pastor Jack Thomas was born and raised in Abilene, Texas. He has served in ministry for the past 15 years. He holds a ministry degree from Global University and spent 11 of those years faithfully serving as a youth pastor, developing a deep passion for discipling the next generation. For nearly four years, he has served as the lead pastor of CCPK, where his heart is to see people grow in their faith, build strong families, and live out the love of Christ in their everyday lives. He has been married to his wife Amy for 15 years. They are high school sweethearts and are blessed with three boys who keep them busy with sports; especially football. Outside of ministry, Pastor Jack enjoys fishing, hunting, watching football, and spending quality time with his family.
Jonathan carries a deep passion for reaching and equipping the next generation to live boldly for Jesus. He believes students aren’t just the church of tomorrow, but leaders God wants to use today. Jonathan is actively involved in the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God, where he also serves at the district church camp, investing in students from across the region and helping create spaces where young people can encounter God in meaningful ways. In addition to ministry, Jonathan is pursuing his nursing degree, driven by a heart to care for others both spiritually and physically. His desire is to live a life that reflects Jesus in every setting, church, school, and community and to help students do the same.
Pastor Amy Thomas has been in ministry for over 15 years. She spent more than five years as a Youth Pastor and has devoted the last ten years to Kids Ministry, where her heart truly comes alive. She is deeply passionate about training up the next generation to know their worth and understand how deeply loved they are by their Heavenly Father. Scripture reminds us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6), and that calling has shaped her life and ministry. She also strongly believes in encouraging kids to walk boldly in their God-given purpose, reminding kids “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers” (1 Timothy 4:12). She wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl, and that passion led Jack and her to attend ministry school together. It’s her honor to invest in children and help them grow in faith, confidence, and love for Jesus!

It is Karan's joy to be able to serve as Preschool/Nursery Director. She loves these precious children, getting to know their parents, and working with the committed volunteers who serve in this ministry. During her thirty-seven years as a Special Education Teacher, she also had opportunities to serve as Special Education Ministry Director, Children's Ministry Director and Youth Leader in different churches in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. She is always trusting the Lord to use her where He needed her the most. Her and her husband Rick were high school sweethearts and have been blessed with three children, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. They love to travel, spend time together with their large family, and watch their grandsons play soccer.

Courtney has always believed in God, but her heart was truly renewed in 2017 when she lost her second son to a heart defect. After growing her relationship with the Lord, she felt called to leave her job as the Director of Energy Programs at New Mexico Junior College to start teaching at University of the Southwest, where she could minister college students. When life brought her and her husband to Graham in 2020, she became a stay at home mom of her two sons. With a heart for serving others, she knows that God brought her to CCPK where Pastor Jack encourages the body to serve using their true God given gifts. In her free time you can find her on the Brazos River with her family in a kayak or bow fishing. It is her joy to serve as the Connections Director connecting people within the church and growing relationships in CCPK community!

The CCPK Teaching Team is a group of trained and mentored leaders who serve under the guidance of Pastor Jack. This team exists to faithfully communicate God’s Word, disciple believers, and support the ministries of the church through sound biblical teaching.
Each member of the teaching team has completed 8–10 training sessions designed to equip them to communicate Scripture effectively, clearly, and in a way that honors God. Their training includes foundational instruction in biblical communication, preaching and teaching principles, discipleship, mentoring, basic hermeneutics, basic homiletics, and entry-level theology.
The teaching team plays a vital role in the life of CCPK by providing speakers for various ministries as needed, covering Sunday services when required, and serving in a rotating schedule for Sunday morning Bible Study.
