"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:5
Kids
At CCPK, our Kids Ministry is a vibrant, safe, and welcoming environment where children from birth through 5th grade can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover God’s love in fun and age-appropriate ways.
Each Sunday and Wednesday, kids experience engaging Bible lessons through the High Voltage Kids curriculum, interactive worship, creative activities, and caring adult leaders who are passionate about helping them know Jesus. Our goal is to partner with parents in laying a spiritual foundation that lasts a lifetime.
Whether your child is learning about God for the first time or growing deeper in their faith, we’re here to support and celebrate each step of their journey.

Amy Thomas
With a heart full of compassion and a passion for raising up the next generation, Mrs Amy has spent more than 20 years faithfully serving in children’s ministry. Whether she’s leading a group of energetic little ones or pouring truth into a quiet moment of prayer, she brings joy, creativity, and the love of Jesus into every room she enters.
By trade, she’s an experienced educator for MWISD with over a 9 years of classroom teaching under her belt, but her calling goes far beyond academics. Her greatest joy is sharing the gospel with children and helping them understand just how much God loves them.
As co-pastor alongside her husband,( and our Pastor) Pastor Jack, Mrs Amy plays an integral role in the life of our church. Her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering faith inspire not only the kids she leads, but also the families and volunteers she serves with. She is a teacher, a leader, a prayer warrior, and a spiritual mother to many.
Whether she’s leading a Sunday kids service, encouraging a young mom, or organizing a community outreach, Mrs Amy does it all with excellence and love. Her life is a beautiful picture of faith in action — and we are blessed to have her as part of our ministry family.

High School Girls
Life is different after high school, exciting, new, and adventurous. Catch up with us once a month as we meet to check in with each other, eat some amazing food, and just hang out having a good time with some great company! We also do a little bit of traveling as we try to check in with our young adults where they are in college, or just living and help them to find ways to be engaged in a positive way where they are.
As iron sharpens iron, we want to continue investing in the lives of our young adults even after they have left our church to further grow into the men and women that God has called them to be.

Prayer Group
Ephesians 6:8-19
"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with perseverance and supplication for all the saints."
We are a group of believers who have a heart or prayer. We will meet on a regular basis to pray and praise in the name of the Lord. Please see the church calendar for the next prayer event!
We will pray for each other, our community, church, health, leaders and anything else that we feel led to pray on and for. If you feel led to pray it is encouraged but it is not necessary.
If you need prayer or would like more information on this group, please email: prayerteam@pkcommunitychurch.org
There is just something about praising the Lord through song that is amazingly blessed. If you love to sing, play an instrument, or have a desire to be involved in this ministry in any capacitiy, please let us know!! We love to worship and shake things up!
